Soon Celebrating 25 years in the Community of Candiac

The Candiac Veterinary Hospital on the South Shore offers customized and outstanding veterinary care. Your pet and you are at the heart of our concerns.

Our surgery, dental care, and laboratory services, as well as all our practices and procedures are performed with state-of-the-art technology and focussed on the well-being and quality of life of our patients. We do everything we can to make your pet’s visit as pleasant and stress-free as possible.

Attentive and perfectionist, our team can advise you on vaccines, allergies, nutrition, alternatives to declawing, and much more. If your pet has parasites like fleas, ticks, or worms, we can suggest simple and efficient solutions.

For your pet’s annual check-up or any health problem, we can guide you towards a diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate recommendations, and discuss costs and options with you.

Open 7 days a week, our clinic is available to you should problems arise over the weekend. Rest assured that our team will support you and respect your decisions, even in more difficult circumstances like euthanasia.

We will also be happy to help you with your pet training needs. For our team, behaviour and mental health are integral parts of a pet’s overall health program. We have all kinds of tips and tricks that can make a difference for overly excited or anxious dogs and cats who make a mess outside of their litter box.

Because behavioural problems have a negative impact on the quality of life of your furry friend and on yours, in addition to increasing the risk of relinquishment, our hospital in Montérégie includes a prevention service for behaviour troubles. We also host lectures and workshops focussed on preventing and managing problem behaviours.

To learn more about our services, please do not hesitate to contact us. We hope to have the privilege to see you again or to welcome you for the first time very soon!

Services

Starting off on the “right paw”

Right now, your puppy or kitten is still very young. Their life has just begun! And like humans, the first few months of life play a huge role in getting them started off right for their future. A check up at your vet means they’ll be starting their life off on the “right paw”, so to speak. And this should be something you follow every year. But of course, that very first examination is very important. First, we should be inserting a microchip, for example, so that you and your pet would always be reunited if they get lost. Next, vaccinations and deworming are highly recommended as preventive medicine at its best. No doubt your vet will also talk to you about neutering, diet and the importance of dental hygiene for your pet.

Whenever you consult your vet, it will always be their pleasure to answer any and all of your questions and provide you with their best advice. After all, animals and their wellbeing are their passion!
