A devoted team to our customers and patients!

At the Charlesbourg Veterinary Hospital, you will be received with the greatest attention. Conscientious, we will meet your expectations with all our know-how and by treating your companion as if it were ours.

The Charlesbourg Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1975. In 1994, the veterinary clinic changed its status to become a veterinary hospital when it was purchased by two employed veterinarians, including Dr Danielle Dubois. In 1998, Dr Dubois became the sole owner. Then, in 2000, the hospital moved into the premises of 751 blvd Louis XIV, then finally in order to modernize the workspace and the facilities and offer a professional and personalized service in a warm environment, the clinic once again moved in October 2014.

From routine exams to laser surgery, dentistry and diagnostic tests, everything is there to ensure a long and happy life for your little darling while minimizing stress.

Located opposite Maxi and Canac, our hospital is easily accessible for residents of the Beauport, Boischatel and Cité-Limoilou sectors, our clinic can also welcome you for advice on vaccines, allergies, food, parasites, alternatives to declawing, diseases or for simple prevention.

If you are going through the difficult period of euthanasia, we will be there with all our compassion to support and accompany you in this ordeal.

Are you looking for dedicated and experienced veterinarians in Quebec and professional services at fair prices? Come meet our team now.

Starting off on the “right paw”

Right now, your puppy or kitten is still very young. Their life has just begun! And like humans, the first few months of life play a huge role in getting them started off right for their future. A check up at your vet means they’ll be starting their life off on the “right paw”, so to speak. And this should be something you follow every year. But of course, that very first examination is very important. First, we should be inserting a microchip, for example, so that you and your pet would always be reunited if they get lost. Next, vaccinations and deworming are highly recommended as preventive medicine at its best. No doubt your vet will also talk to you about neutering, diet and the importance of dental hygiene for your pet.

Whenever you consult your vet, it will always be their pleasure to answer any and all of your questions and provide you with their best advice. After all, animals and their wellbeing are their passion!
