Clinique Pierre-Boucher

The Pierre-Boucher Veterinary Hospital in Longueuil: A Space Designed for you and your Pets

The Pierre-Boucher Veterinary Hospital is very proud to provide pets on the South Shore and their families with a brand-new, spacious and Zen space!

The premises include a tall plant wall with a soothing effect on both clients and their pets, and a full pet store offering various brands of food, treats, and fashion accessories: all to ensure the well-being of your pet and you. Additionally, the hospital is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment for the best veterinary care possible.

The services available at our hospital in Montérégie include: general practice, vaccination, neutering, home visits, laboratory tests, digital X-rays, and surgeries (general, laser, and orthopedic). Thus, we can perform more complex procedures for joint problems.

Our experienced and attentive staff can also advise you on vaccines and allergies and give you tips on preventing parasites such as fleas, ticks, and worms.

Passionate about animal behaviour, our team can also suggest alternatives to declawing and solutions to deal with misbehaviour (such as a cat urinating outside the litter box, anxiety in dogs, etc.).

Even in trials, if, for instance, your pet is sick or you have to consider euthanasia to end your pet’s life, we will support you with compassion while respecting your choice. We have all been through this difficult moment, so we understand how it feels.

In all the care provided, we value the client-animal-veterinarian relationship. We acknowledge that your pet is an integral part of your family. That’s why we treat all pets like they are ours.

Improving the health, happiness, and quality of life of your dog or cat is our priority. Come and see for yourself by visiting us soon. We will be sure to welcome you with joy, attentiveness, and professionalism.

Services

Starting off on the “right paw”

Right now, your puppy or kitten is still very young. Their life has just begun! And like humans, the first few months of life play a huge role in getting them started off right for their future. A check up at your vet means they’ll be starting their life off on the “right paw”, so to speak. And this should be something you follow every year. But of course, that very first examination is very important. First, we should be inserting a microchip, for example, so that you and your pet would always be reunited if they get lost. Next, vaccinations and deworming are highly recommended as preventive medicine at its best. No doubt your vet will also talk to you about neutering, diet and the importance of dental hygiene for your pet.

Whenever you consult your vet, it will always be their pleasure to answer any and all of your questions and provide you with their best advice. After all, animals and their wellbeing are their passion!
