Our welcoming animal hospital!

Personalized Care in the Heart of the Pointe-Claire Village!

Since 1976, the Village Animal Hospital has provided upscale, personalized services to its community in the heart of Montreal's West Island.

We understand that your pet is a full-fledged family member and deserves the highest quality care possible. That's a good thing since we are passionate about its health, happiness, and quality of life.

A Dedicated Team

Whether you are looking for advice on vaccines, allergies, alternatives to declawing, food and more, we will inform you about the best available options at the fairest prices.

Even when you are faced with difficult decisions, such as when the time has come to consider euthanasia, you can count on the compassion of a team that is committed to and understands its community.

Our team of veterinarians and technicians has developed extensive expertise in veterinary care: general medicine, surgery, vaccination, sterilization, home visits, laboratory and digital radiology.

We prefer to prevent parasites such as fleas or ticks rather than see our patients suffer and contaminate the homes of our valued clients.

Our staff is renowned for its people skills and team spirit. We implement a continuous training program adapted to the evolving needs of our clientele to ensure every pet’s well-being.

Since each animal is unique, we make it a priority to place your dog or cat at the heart of everything we do by offering tailor-made services.

Do not hesitate to contact us for more information. We can’t wait to meet you and, of course, your pet! Dr. Louis Cardinal and his devoted team can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Services

Starting off on the “right paw”

Right now, your puppy or kitten is still very young. Their life has just begun! And like humans, the first few months of life play a huge role in getting them started off right for their future. A check up at your vet means they’ll be starting their life off on the “right paw”, so to speak. And this should be something you follow every year. But of course, that very first examination is very important. First, we should be inserting a microchip, for example, so that you and your pet would always be reunited if they get lost. Next, vaccinations and deworming are highly recommended as preventive medicine at its best. No doubt your vet will also talk to you about neutering, diet and the importance of dental hygiene for your pet.

Whenever you consult your vet, it will always be their pleasure to answer any and all of your questions and provide you with their best advice. After all, animals and their wellbeing are their passion!
