Laser surgery

The traditional and most common way to perform surgery is through the use of a scalpel. For  many years now, a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser has been used in numerous procedures.

Compared to its predecessor (the scalpel), a surgical laser comes with several benefits including decreasing pain, inflammation, bleeding, and the risk of infection.

Indeed, a surgical laser cuts tissues and cauterizes blood vessels and nerve endings at the same time. Additionally, during the incision, the laser burns wound edges and kills bacteria contained therein.

Surgical laser can be used for sterilization, removing a benign mass, treating entropion, and dental surgery.
