Quality Care and Personalized Services

Founded more than 30 years ago by Dr. Jean-Guy Crête, the Mont-Tremblant Veterinary Clinic changed ownership in April 2009 when Dr. Julie Robillard and Dr. Marie-Josée Hupé took up the torch.

In March 2016, Dr. Robillard became the sole owner of this thriving clinic located near Saint-Jovite, in the Laurentians, in addition to being the mom of 3 young children. The expression “If you want something done, give it to a busy person” was certainly invented with Robillard in mind.

Following extensive renovations and the acquisition of new equipment, our clinic can now provide state-of-the-art services to diagnose diseases in cats and dogs. So, if your pet is constipated or coping with diarrhea, is listless or sadly suffered an accident, we can provide the necessary care.

We recommend an annual check-up to ensure the good general health, dental health, and weight management of your companion. We can also discuss vaccine needs depending on your pet’s lifestyle.

For young pets, we can advise you on the appropriate preventive care and the best time for neutering, in addition to exploring the alternatives to declawing.

We can also check for parasites such as fleas, ticks, mites, and worms, suggest the right food for your pet’s needs, and give you tips to control allergies.

Did your dog try to win a round against a porcupine and is now covered in quills? Or did your pet get sprayed by the neighbourhood skunk? We are specially trained to deal with those issues more common in wilder areas such as ours.

If the topic of euthanasia turns unavoidable, we can provide you with compassionate support as you say goodbye to your precious companion. We know that this is a difficult decision and we will be there for you.

Our entire team looks forward to meeting you and to provide you with professional and compassionate services.

Starting off on the “right paw”

Right now, your puppy or kitten is still very young. Their life has just begun! And like humans, the first few months of life play a huge role in getting them started off right for their future. A check up at your vet means they’ll be starting their life off on the “right paw”, so to speak. And this should be something you follow every year. But of course, that very first examination is very important. First, we should be inserting a microchip, for example, so that you and your pet would always be reunited if they get lost. Next, vaccinations and deworming are highly recommended as preventive medicine at its best. No doubt your vet will also talk to you about neutering, diet and the importance of dental hygiene for your pet.

Whenever you consult your vet, it will always be their pleasure to answer any and all of your questions and provide you with their best advice. After all, animals and their wellbeing are their passion!
