Intestinal worms (roundworms, hookworms, tapeworms) can be transmitted through the environment, other animals, or even certain foods. They can settle quietly in the body and may cause digestive problems, weight loss, and decreased energy in your companion.

External Parasites, an Underestimated Threat.
Ticks and fleas are the main external parasites in Quebec. Once temperatures reach 4°C (39°F), ticks become active and can transmit diseases such as Lyme disease. Fleas, on the other hand, lay hundreds of eggs that can quickly infest your home.
