Dr. Michel Lefebvre is the captain of our dynamic team at St-Jean Veterinary Hospital. Drs Valérie Goineau and Catherine Gosselin – the latter being the founder’s granddaughter – are now taking over! We have a reputation for being a professional team that is dedicated to its patients while knowing how to have fun.

Come meet us! The St-Jean Veterinary Hospital is located at 269, rue Jacques-Cartier Sud, in the Saint-Eugène district of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. A large 2-story building, the clinic is located 3 minutes by car from the Royal Military College Saint-Jean and the Maison Éthier store (opposite to downtown), just before the St-Jean Golf Club.

A dedicated team

Passionate about behavior, we have designed our pension to reduce stress in our patients. Large, comfortable and spacious premises welcome dogs and cats from the South Shore of Montreal, who are looking for lodging for a short or long stay.
Frequent daily recreation, either in a large outdoor courtyard completely closed for the doggies, or in a “green or pink nursery” for the kitties, allow everyone to untie their legs and relax outside the enclosures and cages.

In addition to the usual offers to ensure the well-being and health of your animal, such annual examinations, preventive advice to keep parasites (fleas, worms, ticks) away, treatment of allergies, suggestions for food, vaccination, sterilization, surgery, alternatives to declawing, etc., we offer a weight loss service worthy of Weight Watchers®!
A weight loss program offered free of charge to our patients enables follow-up with regular weighings, including evaluation of your animal’s body condition. A few extra pounds can reduce the quality of life for your cat and your dog. We are here to guide you through this weight loss.
